Donations

Established in 2015, the Rocky River Band Backers was formed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to support the Rocky River City School District's band program.

In June 2023, the original "Band Backers" organization voted to merge with "Choir Boosters" to form the Rocky River Music Backers. We are thrilled to be an organization that supports all vocal and instrumental performing groups grades 5-12 in the Rocky River schools. Our two arms, the RR Band Backers and RR Choir Backers, work in harmony to offer many forms of support, including: raising funds to purchase and maintain uniforms, music, equipment, supplies, awards, snacks, workshops with clinicians, etc. We also work with the RRCSD music staff to assist in organizing parent volunteers and publicizing music program activities.

All parents and guardians of vocal and instrumental performing group students in grades 5-12 are automatically part of Rocky River Music Backers. We have no membership fees. We are honored to be supported by Rocky River families and local businesses through donations that allow us to fulfill our mission of supplementing the Rocky River instrumental and vocal performance groups at KIS, RRMS, and RRHS. All donations directly impact students in a variety of ways.  Thank you for considering a donation to support our efforts! 

You are able to choose how you want your donation allocated (either to instrumental, vocal, or both on our form)

 We have gone to a completely ONLINE system this year - no paper forms will be sent home.  You can pay by cash, check, or credit card through this system.  All donations must be initiated online.

Donations may be used to support music scholarship programs.

Please consider seeing if your employer will match your tax-deductible donation.  Our tax identification number will be included in your confirmation email for your convenience!
